Since 1999, Peninsula Pacific has an impressive track record of successfully developing, owning and operating world-class entertainment destinations throughout the United States, including properties in Louisiana, Iowa, Kansas and New York.
Seven of Peninsula Pacific’s developments have been greenfield properties, in which the company started the development from scratch, with nothing more than a “green field.” Greenfield developments serve as significant catalysts for regional economic development.
Around the country, Peninsula Pacific’s developments have created substantial economic growth, tax relief for residents and quality jobs for each community in which it has developed. The company’s Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Sioux City, Iowa added more than 550 quality jobs and grew the city’s gaming market by more than $20 million in its first year alone.
Additionally, per the community’s request, Peninsula Pacific incorporated two first-class concert venues at the Iowa facility. Combined, these indoor and outdoor concert venues have hosted hundreds of concerts since 2014, featuring hundreds of thousands of fans from every state and several countries. Most importantly, the addition of these concert venues has created a tremendously positive economic impact for the surrounding community, benefiting local hotels, restaurants and businesses.
In Kansas, Peninsula Pacific worked with the local Mulvane community to develop a premier entertainment destination, which included several first-rate restaurants, a luxurious hotel and the Kansas Star Arena. When developing the project, Peninsula Pacific was surprised to learn the local community wanted an equestrian center built for the area. Not only did Peninsula Pacific build the equestrian center (Kansas Star Arena), but the company built it first, before the full casino had finished construction.
The Kansas Star Arena now serves as a multipurpose entertainment venue that has hosted a variety of events, including Championship Bull Riding, mixed martial arts events by Bellator MMA, the Miss Kansas USA pageant, as well as hundreds of concerts from prominent entertainment artists.
Peninsula Pacific also has 15 years of successful experience in Louisiana with three different properties, including Evangeline Downs, which has developed into a significant economic boon for the city of Opelousas and St. Landry Parish.
More importantly, Peninsula Pacific values forging and maintaining strong partnerships with local communities. By listening and learning to what is desired by a local community, Peninsula Pacific is able to develop quality properties appropriate for the market, which become points of pride for each parish or county.
Each Peninsula Pacific project includes different amenities, restaurants and hotels, but all the developments are linked by one distinct trait: excellence.
